Free from plastic and synthetics, full of natural flavour. Instead of using a traditional plastic-filled gum base, True Gum makes their chewing gum with chicle, a sustainable and natural ingredient coming from the sap of the Sapodilla tree. That makes True Gum a plastic-free, plant-based chewing gum. Their chicle is harvested by local “chicleros” in Central America with a sustainable technique that's been practiced for centuries that does not require cutting down trees. At the same time, using chicle supports the livelihood of the local communities.
